YOU'VE all heard about these mysterious Tall Days, when Crowes fans all over the world raise a glass of Guinness and toast to Ireland... wait, that's the Guinness Day Toast, sorry. But you get the idea, don't you? The idea is to have Crowes fans gather together with other, local Crowes fans. New Yorkers would gather in a designated area in New York, Chicagoans and other people int he greater Chicagoland metro area would gather in a designated area in Chicago. Londoners would gather in a designated area in London. And so forth.... So who's doing this, who's organizing these days? Well, we've had a few volunteers, but we don't really know where on earth (litterally!) everyone lives, so this is what we need to do. Sign up at the fanclub regional info page and tell us where you live. If you are willing to locate a bar or restaurant in your area, then you can be in charge of your local Tall Day. If nobody is willing to be in charge of a Tall Day in your region, there simply won't be one in your region. Black Moonshine is a fanclub for an by Amoricans. So we need your help. If you want to be in charge of a Tall Day, pleae email Frayed. You will be contacted if we need someone in your area. If you just want to go to a Tall Day, but you can't help out, that's fine too, not everyone needs to be in charge, but we need EVERYONE to sign up on the regional list. That way we have an idea of how many people are in each area. There might be seven people in Indianapolis, or there could be twenty-five! We won't know until you all sign up. So, now that that is cleared up, when is the first Tall Day? It will be in November (or possibly December) and the dates for that and all future Tall Days will be posted on the Black Moonshine website (currently available at www.frayed.org/blackmoonshine). Once we get going on this, it will get easier and easier. Meeting Crowes fans near you is a wonderful thing. It gives you incentive to go to more concerts to see your friends, it makes it easier to trade and learn about the Crowes, and its one hell of a good way to meet some damn fine people!
