What is a Tall Day?
A Tall Day is a day when Black Crowes fans gather together to hang out, talk about music and meet other Crowes fans. Ideally, when a Tall day is going on in one city, it will also be going on in other cities, with other Crowes fans. For example, if New York is having a Tall Day, the organizers have worked together with fans in other cities so that Chicago, LA, Boston, etc will all also be having a Tall Day.

What is the NYC Tall Daze (aka Tall Day)?
The NYC Tall Daze is just the New York City Tall Day. Basically, if you are a Crowes fan and you live in or near New York (or you happen to be in the area), you are welcome at the Tall Day in New York.

Do I need to sign up or something, or belong to some club or fanclub?
You do not need to belong to anything, nor do you need to sign up anywhere. For the sake of the organizers, it would help very much if you could just reply to the NYC Tall Day thread at the Black Crowes official messageboard.

I don't know any other fans, what should I expect?
I went through this myself the first time I met crowes fans from one of the boards. It was weird for the first 10 minutes, but after a beer we all settled down for a nice chat about the band, it was way cool. In general, Crowes fans are really cool people. They take their music seriously and they tend to be alot of fun. Hey, the bottom line is this, you are guaranteed to have something to talk about with these people, whether you prefer the rock songs or the more laid back jams or both. I can't guarantee you will like everyone you meet, but I can guarantee you will meet some interesting people and probably you will meet some people you can trade shows with.

Should I bring anything?
Yeah, you should bring money for drinks. And a day and possibly night out in the city. You also might want to bring a list of shows you may want to trade - I don't know if you'll ever use it, but you might.

Is that it?
Yeah, that's it. Check the messageboards from time to time or check this page for updates.

Various Notes
Music: As stated above, music will be provided. If all works out (and it should), we will be listening to the Crowes (and maybe a few other select tunes) all afternoon.

Money: don't forget you cab fair home and some cash for some drinks, other than what you buy for yourself, there will be no cost for this.
